On the agenda:
1. Introduction
Short outlook at the current situation of „doing business” in the Ukraine with specific focus on the situation of foreign investors.
2. Currently introduced and expected legislative regarding „doing business” and investing in the Ukraine.
- Amendments introduced into the legislation after February 2022.
- Bills contemplated at „Rada Verkhovna” and new legislation proposals being contemplated by the executive branch.
3. Effective legal protection of investment in the Ukraine.
- Effective enforcement of judgements – Ukrainian and foreign.
- Two enforcement systems (public and private).
- Peculiarities of the courts’ system in Ukraine.
- Enforceability of foreign courts and arbitration awards.
- Accessibility of arbitration for the Ukrainian entities.
4. Official registries in the Ukraine in the time of war; entrances and accessibility.
- Real Estate (mortgage books) register.
- iBusiness (Commercial) register.
5. Legality of the transactions in the occupied territories.
- Transfer of legal title to real estate.
- Current and contemplated attitude to transactions after the de-occupation.
