Panattoni has purchased 4.2 ha and begun another development in Bieruń. Over 18,000 sqm to be constructed near the Stellantis factory

Panattoni has purchased over 4 ha and is to develop Panattoni Park Bieruń just 2 km from the Stellantis car factory. The project will be an excellent option for automotive subcontractors and may also serve as a centre for e-commerce, logistics and industry.

Panattoni, the most active industrial developer in the world, has purchased over 4 ha and is to develop Panattoni Park Bieruń just 2 km from the Stellantis car factory. The project will be an excellent option for automotive subcontractors and may also serve as a centre for e-commerce, logistics and industry.

Bieruń shows its potential. Panattoni is ready to begin the development of another centre in Bieruń. Up till now the developer has delivered two parks in this place with a total combined area of 97,000 sqm. This space has been fully leased, demonstrating the attraction of the location. Moreover, discount chain Action occupies a BTS centre of over 60,000 sqm and Panattoni is also completing work on a factory for the Hager Group, a leading electronics producer for industry and real estate. Now the developer is to construct Panattoni Park Bieruń I with an area of 18,000 sqm. The park will benefit from being just 2 km from a Stellantis car factory and thus will be a convenient location for subcontractors to run buffer warehousing for the components they supply to the factory.

“The Silesia region has for many years been strengthening its position as the centre of the Polish automotive industry, attracting giants from both Europe and the rest of the world. Around Bieruń, 23,000 sqm has already been leased by leading automotive component suppliers from the EMEA region and for them a key factor was how close the Stellantis factory is. This demonstrates the huge potential that the factory gives the region and  Panattoni Park Bieruń I will allow this potential to be even more effectively utilised,” says Marek Dobrzycki, the Managing Director of Panattoni.

Being near to the Stellantis factory is, however, not the only advantage that the park’s location offers. The centre will also benefit from being near to the A4 motorway  and the S1 expressway. It will also have easy access to the A1. This means the centre will be able to serve both the Polish market as well as international operations. The well-connected location will help further the development of many different industries.

First time to two and a half million. Silesia is the first region in which Panattoni has supplied over 2.5 mln sqm. “Tenants and investors appreciate the well developed infrastructure, the easy access to skilled labour and the support local authorities give to business. All these advantages mean that Silesia is effectively transforming itself from a mining area into a centre for Polish industry where technologically-advanced production facilities, distribution centres and logistics parks are being built. The delivery of 2.5 mln sqm is a superb figure but it is also a sign of further strategic developments to come,” adds  Marek Dobrzycki. In Silesia, the developer is planning further developments that also include Panattoni Park Katowice Airport with over 210,000 sqm, which is to be the largest centre under one roof in the region.
