Panattoni has financing to develop a factory for Maxcess with a EUR 10 mln loan from Santander
Panattoni has recently launched construction work on the main European production plant for Maxcess in Łubowo near Gniezno and has now been awarded bank financing of around EUR 10 mln from Santander for this development.
Panattoni, the most active industrial real estate developer in the world is a trusted partner for the development of BTS manufacturing plants. The developer has recently launched construction work on the main European production plant for Maxcess in Łubowo near Gniezno and has now been awarded bank financing of around EUR 10 mln from Santander for this development.
Maxcess is the world leader in the field of innovative products and services for automated production lines and the new development in Łubowo is a key project for the future growth of the company. Centralising its operations under one roof will provide the company with a strategic advantage and improve its operations. Furthermore, the development will be one of the most important business projects for the Gniezno district with the creation of 350 jobs, more than double the number of those provided by the current Maxcess factory in the region. The bank, Santander, has seen the potential of this project and has awarded a loan of EUR 10 mln for its development.
“The fact that a global player has located its main European factory in Poland is another optimistic sign that the country is benefiting from Europe’s re-industrialisation. The largest companies are drawn in by the country’s central location, its educated workforce and its business-friendly environment. Financial institutions are also playing a part in the current changes by – among other things – financing the BTS manufacturing plants being developed by Panattoni. We wish to thank Santander for their trust and support for this innovative project, since the new production plant will not just be limited to manufacturing products but will also be used for research and development as well as creating new products and services for Maxcess,” comments Karina Trojańska, the Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni
Panattoni is developing a building of around 13,000 sqm that can be extended in the future. As part of the project Maxcess is planning to further develop its technology with the modernisation of its machinery, equipment and software. The new centre is also perfectly aligned with the company’s efforts to make its operations more environmentally friendly. Among other things, Panattoni is to prepare the development for the installation of solar panels and is also to create green areas in the factory grounds. The developer intends to submit the development to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of Excellent.
“Once again, Panattoni has become a crucial partner for the energy transformation of a global manufacturer and financial institutions on seeing our rapid development in this field, have placed their trust in us and our further developments. The extremely high ecological standards of our projects are a sign that working with us is a partnership with very good future prospects,” summarizes Karina Trojańska.
